How much internet bandwidth is needed?
The Track My Progress test application uses relatively little bandwidth to communicate over the internet with the Track My Progress test server. On average, a student taking a test will make 60 server requests totaling 5 megabytes of data. There is an initial download of the test application to the web browser which totals 3 megabytes. The remaining 2 megabytes of data are distributed over the 20 to 25 test questions on an average of once every minute.
