Can students take Track My Progress tests at home?

While it is technically possible for a student to sign in from home to take a Track My Progress assessment we recommend that assessments are only taken at school under teacher supervision.

Testing at home is not suitable for a variety of reasons. Students may get help answering questions at home that could convey a false level of understanding. Testing conditions at home may not be optimal or consistent at home. Therefore sign in cards should be collected after test sessions have been completed. School and District Administrators have the capability to restrict testing time to school hours or to turn off the test altogether in order to prevent students from accessing the test from home.
