Do the Math and ELA screener assessments test every state standard?

The screener assessments provide scores at the subject and domain levels of the state standards.

Track My Progress screener assessments focus on providing an efficient assessment that does not monopolize instructional time and does not overwhelm or discourage students. To that end, the screener assessments do not evaluate students in every state standard in each test session.

The screener assessments deliver 30 test questions. To provide an accurate reading on each standard for each student, testing each standard 3-5 times would be necessary, which would make for a lengthy and possibly discouraging test experience.

The screener assessment focuses on subjects and domains and provides a high-level view of student progress without compromising instructional time or student morale. The subject and domain scores offer sufficient detail for pinpointing strengths and weaknesses and gauging progress over time. The drill-down view of the specific test question performance allows for test question analysis that can complete the picture for the given needs of most students.

When you have more questions about a specific student's learning, you can assign the diagnostic assessment for more data at the skill level.
