Overview

Track My Progress is a web-based application designed to support K-12 schools and districts by providing student assessments and data. Below are the specific technical requirements for running the application.

Supported Devices

Track My Progress works on the following device types:

- PCs and Laptops (Windows or macOS)

- Chromebooks

- Tablets (iPads and Android Tablets)

Screen Resolution Requirement

- Minimum resolution: 1024 x 768 pixels

Supported Web Browsers

The platform works on any web browsers or OS released within the last 12 months.

Supported browsers:

- Google Chrome

- Mozilla Firefox

- Microsoft Edge

- Apple Safari

Legacy Systems

Track My Progress may function on legacy operating systems and browsers; however, we only provide official support for platforms released within the past 12 months. While older versions might still run the application, we do not test new releases on systems or browsers older than one year and cannot guarantee full functionality. To ensure that the platform will work without any technical issues, we recommend that schools maintain up-to-date devices and software.

Audio Requirements

Audio narration is integrated into many assessments, requiring students to use headphones or earbuds on their devices during assessments.

Network and Internet Requirements

Track My Progress requires an active internet connection for each student’s device.

Bandwidth Requirement

- 20 Kbps per student during simultaneous usage.

Security and Compliance

The platform prioritizes security and compliance to align with educational standards:

- Encryption: All data transmitted between the application and user devices is encrypted using TLS.

- Privacy Compliance: Track My Progress complies with FERPA** and COPPA regulations to protect student data.

- Authentication: The platform supports integration with Single Sign-On (SSO) systems, such as ClassLink.
