The student ID is a critical identifier in the import process when using a District Administrator Account. School Administrator Accounts cannot access the Student ID field and should focus on the student username as a unique identifier.

The student's name, username, and password can all be changed during the import, and the test data will still be associated with the student ID.

If you wanted to update student usernames to a different format for the entire district, you could import your roster as long as the student ID field is the same for each student as what already exists in your Track My Progress account.

Track My Progress does not assign or generate student ID numbers. We suggest you use the same student ID for each student as your school district uses internally.
