An overview of how to adjust the starting grade level for an individual student before they take the Screener assessment

Updated over a week ago

School and District Administrators can edit the grade level that a student will start with on the Screener assessments. For example, if a third grade student has been behind their peers in ELA and has a lower reading level, you may want to test them to start the test at a second or first grade level. Below is a step-by-step guide to edit the grade level.

Click Administration

Once you have signed in to your account, select Administration from the top tabs.

Locate the account

Find the student account and click the three dots on the right side of the row. Click on Edit from the options.

Find the Assignment Grade Level Area

In the student's account page, scroll to the bottom and locate the Assignment Grade Level area.

Edit the Grade Level

In this section, you can click on either the Math or ELA Screener drop-down menus and select the grade level you would like the student to be tested in. Click Save Student in the bottom right corner to confirm your choice.
